Sozni is the finest of Kashmir's embroidery traditions. A single artisan works the design stitch by stitch with a hair-fine needle and silk thread, and on good work the reverse is almost as neat as the face. A border can take weeks; an all-over jaal of paisley and floral vines can take many months.

Every shawl here is pure Kashmiri pashmina, hand-spun and hand-woven before the needle ever touches it. We are a Kashmiri family business and buy each piece directly from the workshops in Srinagar, so we know who made it. Each shawl is one of a kind and comes with our Certificate of Authenticity.
