Black Pashmina Shawl with Sozni Multicolour Jaal & Corner Paisleys

Enquire on WhatsAppA black ground sown with small colour. Fine Sozni vines cross the whole field, carrying tiny flowers, buds and heart-shaped leaves stitched by hand in peach, pink, soft blue and gold. At the corners the pattern gathers into large paisleys, densely filled, and a narrow border of buds runs around every edge.
The plain black ends give the eye somewhere to rest and make the embroidered field look richer still. The cloth is handwoven from pure Pashmina, the fine cashmere of Kashmir: feather-light, soft and gently warming. It is evening wear in the traditional sense, and the result of many months at the needle.
