Enquire on WhatsAppIvory, bordered in crimson. A wide Sozni band runs around all four sides of this shawl, stitched by hand in crimson and magenta with fine gold outlines: a chain of curving paisleys leaning one into the next, finished along the inner edge with a row of small scalloped tips.
The field is left entirely plain, which is what makes a border shawl so easy to wear and so hard to tire of. The cloth is handwoven from pure Pashmina, the fine cashmere of Kashmir: feather-light, soft and gently warming. A classic for weddings and family occasions, with months of needlework in its border.
