Enquire on WhatsAppA warm olive brown, covered in ivory vines. Long Sozni stems wander across the whole field of this shawl, stitched by hand and set all the way along with tiny leaves and small flowers. A border of upright flower sprigs between fine lines closes the pattern, and the ends are left in plain olive brown.
The jaal is open and airy, so the colour of the cloth shows through and the piece never feels heavy. It is handwoven from pure Pashmina, the fine cashmere of Kashmir: feather-light, soft and gently warming. All-over needlework like this takes many months, and no two are quite the same.
