Curving sprigs of leaves and buds are stitched by hand in russet, gold and brown, turning this way and that from one check to the next, with the occasional small paisley among them.
The earthy palette makes it a natural partner for autumn and winter clothes. The cloth is handwoven from pure Pashmina, the fine cashmere of Kashmir: feather-light, soft and gently warming. Checked weave and hand embroidery together make a piece that is relaxed but clearly special.
